Outverse, a London, UK-based provider of a community platform for modern SaaS companies, recently announced that they have raised $6 million in a Seed funding round. The funding was led by Wing VC, and included participation from Notion Capital, Seedcamp, Connect Ventures, and Tiny VC. With this new capital, Outverse plans to scale their product offering by enhancing their AI capabilities.
The company, co-founded in 2021 by Kyran Schmidt, Ollie Steadman, and Jeylani Jeylani, offers an extensible platform that allows software companies to connect and engage with their customers and users through focused discussion, feedback, support, and knowledge sharing.
This platform enables product-led businesses to build a valuable bank of community knowledge, reducing the time spent on customer support, enhancing customer success, and supporting the product-led growth (PLG) motion.
At its launch, Outverse integrates seamlessly with popular workplace tools like Slack and Figma. Additionally, the platform leverages AI technology to make information easy to find for users. Furthermore, it provides customers with the added benefits of a custom domain and fully indexable discussions and knowledge base, which contributes to their brand and SEO efforts. Outverse also plans to offer further integrations and API access later this year, expanding its capabilities even further.
