The funding round was led by Will Ventures and supported by Y Combinator, ElevenLabs, Steven Bartlett, and other Angel investors. The company's primary aim is to utilize the funds to expand the platform's capabilities and provide users with more features.
Founded by Dimitris Nikolaou, Youssef Rizk, and Oskar Serrander, Wondercraft offers a unique platform that allows users to incorporate professional audio into various creative projects.
With readily available templates, users can transform their blogs into engaging podcasts, articles into captivating audiobooks, and adverts into powerful marketing campaigns. Wondercraft's tools and templates provide users with AI script assistants, high-quality music, video generation, and remarkably realistic AI voices, enabling them to create immersive listening experiences. Additionally, the platform offers an AI-powered tool that can translate and dub projects into over 15 languages, backed by a team of 100+ expert linguists who ensure the quality and accuracy of each translation.
Since its beta launch in 2023, Wondercraft's solution has already been utilized by over 30,000 creators, writers, entrepreneurs, advertisers, and brands worldwide. The platform has also gained popularity in the podcasting industry, serving as the technology behind numerous successful podcasts, including Diary of A CEO and the CoinDesk network. The company's co-founder, Dimitris Nikolaou, expressed the vision of empowering individuals to become audio creators, much like how Canva made everyone a designer.
