Envoke, a Leeds, UK-based provider of a virtual demo platform, recently secured £1M in funding from NPIF - Mercia Equity Finance. Managed by Mercia and a part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund, this investment will allow Envoke to enhance its platform and participate in more international trade exhibitions to increase its global sales. The CEO of Envoke, Stuart Warrington, is thrilled about this funding opportunity and envisions significant growth for the company.
Envoke's virtual demo platform was initially developed in 2019 for Thermo Fisher Scientific, a multinational company specializing in analytical equipment.
Thermo Fisher Scientific sought a more efficient way to showcase its products to remote customers without the need to ship out equipment or send sales staff to distant locations. Envoke's platform proved to be the perfect solution, and its success led to its adoption by other biotech equipment manufacturers such as Bio-Rad, 10X Genomics, Roche, and Illumina.
With the new funding, Envoke plans to further enhance its virtual demo platform, making it even more user-friendly and feature-rich. Additionally, the company aims to expand its presence by participating in international trade exhibitions, strengthening its sales efforts on a global scale. As a result, Envoke anticipates the creation of ten new jobs in the upcoming year, adding to its current workforce of 16 talented professionals.
