NumberEight, a London-based startup, has secured $2.7M in Pre-Series A funding for its on-device AI solutions that provide privacy-first identity solutions for the advertising industry. ACF Investors led the funding round, with participation from Nauta Capital, Ascension Ventures, Enterprise 100 angels, and other strategic angels, including industry veterans from the mobile gaming and adtech sectors. The company plans to utilize the funds to drive commercial growth, enhance product development, and expedite expansion into the US market.
Under the leadership of CEO Abhishek Sen, NumberEight offers identity solutions that do not rely on the use of identifiers.
By utilizing on-device AI, the company enables publishers and ad platforms to incorporate intelligent, ID-less, and anonymized data into their ads. This allows advertisers to effectively target their desired audiences while maintaining privacy. With a global presence, NumberEight already serves customers in the audio, gaming, and advertising sectors, including companies like Southern Cross Austereo, Adverty, and AdInMo.
In light of increasing privacy regulations and data restrictions imposed by platforms, the demand for innovative solutions that empower advertisers without compromising user privacy is growing. Abhishek Sen believes that this investment showcases NumberEight's foresight in on-device AI and privacy-focused technologies, setting the stage for their global expansion plans. The company aims to address the urgent need for privacy-first advertising solutions and provide advertisers with effective tools to reach their target audiences.
