
OctaiPipe, the London-based the end-to-end Edge AI platform, has successfully raised £3m in pre-Series A funding and received a £500k grant from Innovate UK. SuperSeed led the pre-Series A round, with participation from Forward Partners, D2, Atlas Ventures, Martlet Capital, Gelecek Etki VC, and Deeptech Labs. The company plans to utilize the investments in further developing its proprietary Federated Learning technology and expanding the availability of the platform for critical industries that rely on IoT, such as Energy, Utilities, Telecoms, Manufacturing, and connected device OEMs.
Established in 2022 and led by CEO Eric Topham, OctaiPipe offers data scientists and AI engineers working in Critical Infrastructure access to an end-to-end Federated Learning Operations (FL-Ops) platform that is both reliable and secure.
The OctaiPipe platform simplifies the deployment and automation of AI to the Edge, as well as the management of distributed machine learning across scalable networks consisting of intelligent IoT devices. Currently, the platform is in use by over 20 customers and device OEMs, available as a Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Private Cloud Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS).
Alongside the funding announcement, OctaiPipe also revealed the appointment of Arnaud Lagarde as Chief Revenue Officer. Mr. Lagarde, with his extensive experience as the Vice President of Sales at Humanising Autonomy, where he oversaw global sales efforts and go-to-market initiatives for Automotive, Autonomous Vehicles, and smart city solution providers, will be responsible for driving OctaiPipe's commercial development.
