Oliva, a London-based healthtech platform, recently announced its latest €5M funding round, bringing the total amount raised to €13M. This funding round was led by Molten Ventures, with existing investors Stride VC and new backers Alumni Ventures and Kieran Flanagan also participating. The company plans to use the funds to expand its network of therapists and launch in new markets, including more US states, whilst introducing new languages, developing their Oliva Care Model, and leveraging AI to improve their online care journey experience.
Founded in 2020 by Javier Suarez, co-founder of TravelPerk, and Sançar Sahin, previously VP Marketing of Hotjar and Typeform, Oliva partners with employers to improve workplace cultures.
This is done by ensuring employees can access mental health and wellbeing support that is tailored to their unique individual needs. The company combines 1-to-1 therapy and coaching, classes, and self-guided content to help both businesses and their staff alike.
The company launched in 2020 has helped employees navigate mental health conditions and is currently available in over 27 countries around the world. Customers include Marshmallow, Maze, Learnerbly, and Leapsome. The funding raised will enable Oliva to expand their existing services, including the launch of an Oliva app that will allow users to access support wherever they are, alongside additional product features to improve the overall user experience for HR teams and practitioners.
