WealthKernel, a London-based provider of digital investment solutions, has recently announced that it has raised £6M in Series A extension funding. The funding round was led by ETFS Capital, with XTX Ventures also participating. The company plans to use these funds to further expand its reach across the European market.
Under the leadership of CEO Karan Shanmugarajah, WealthKernel offers investment, savings, and wealth infrastructure solutions to empower businesses in developing flexible and cost-effective functionalities.
Through its API-based investment infrastructure, the company enables companies to provide digital wealth and investment services, ranging from Individual Savings Accounts (ISAs) to General Investment Accounts (GIAs) and Self-Invested Personal Pensions (SIPPs). This platform simplifies the launch of financial products for retail clients.
CEO Karan Shanmugarajah expressed excitement about the funding, stating, "This funding comes at a time of rapid growth for WealthKernel. We have been expanding our services rapidly over the last few months, including our recent entry into the US equities market. The new funding will further support our commitment to strengthening our market presence and delivering innovative solutions to the wealth management industry."
