Ambl, a vibrant startup based in London, UK, has recently secured £1 million in Seed funding to bolster its innovative platform designed to connect diners and drinkers with real-time availability at various venues. This funding round, which marks Ambl's fourth pre-seed funding effort, was backed by prominent industry figures such as Paul McKenna, Jon Spiteri, and the renowned serial entrepreneur Mark Gordon. With this new investment, the total capital raised by the company has reached an impressive £2.3 million, allowing them to further solidify their position within the competitive hospitality sector.
Under the leadership of CEO Aaron Solomon, Ambl is committed to improving the dining experience by providing users with the ability to personalize their booking preferences according to party size, type of venue, and proximity.
Once the search parameters have been set, users can choose between two distinct options: Broadcast, where all venues that meet the criteria respond to the booking inquiry, or Search, which allows consumers to view the venues that currently have availability. This innovative approach not only streamlines the booking process but also enhances user satisfaction by providing tailored choices.
To kickstart its operations, Ambl has successfully partnered with 100 well-known venues across London, including popular spots like Hawksmoor, Bob Bob Ricard, Luca, and The Alchemist, among others. This initial launch is currently in a test phase, with plans for a broader rollout throughout London and eventually throughout the UK. The company has already lined up an additional 1,300 venues eager to join the platform, with aspirations to make their services more widely available by the end of this year and to expand further across the UK in the upcoming year. With such promising growth plans, Ambl is poised to become a significant player in the hospitality industry.
