Annelie Ajami, the visionary Founder and General Partner of Anamcara, has recently announced the launch of a new venture capital fund based in London, UK. Anamcara focuses on making angel-sized investments, averaging around $200K, in pre-seed and seed stage B2B companies across Europe, with a strong thematic emphasis. The firm leverages its extensive operator advisory network, which boasts a wealth of domain expertise, to bolster their portfolio companies.
The fund has already made significant strides by investing in eleven innovative companies throughout Europe. Notable examples include Noloco, a no-code web app builder; Bits Technology, which provides an automation layer for open finance; and Equipme, a B2B commerce and service management platform. Other portfolio companies are Flexspace, a solution for on-demand workspaces, and Helvengo, which offers digital insurance tailored for small businesses. With the backing of esteemed co-investors like La Famiglia VC, Cherry Ventures, Cavalry Ventures, and Salesforce Ventures, Anamcara is making waves in the venture capital landscape. Ajami herself has a rich history in finance and venture capital, having previously worked for Nomura Bank and Bedrock, and she brings this wealth of experience to empower her fund’s initiatives.
