In a significant move to bolster its growth trajectory and enhance innovation in the cyber security sector, CybaVerse has successfully raised an impressive £1.1 million in funding. This injection of capital comes from reputable investors including FSE Group, Haatch, and Founder & Lightning, alongside contributions from angel investors such as FSE angels and the University of Sussex Business Angels group. The funding showcases CybaVerse’s strong momentum as it works tirelessly to redefine the future of cyber security, primarily through its cutting-edge Software as a Service (SaaS) platform known as CybaVerse AI. With this financial backing, CybaVerse aims to expand its team and accelerate platform development, recently empowering its leadership by bringing in three accomplished senior professionals to guide the company into this exciting new phase.
Among the newly appointed leaders is Andreas Wuchner, a distinguished veteran in the technology industry who takes on the role of Chairman.
Andreas brings with him over 26 years of invaluable experience in cyber security, having held pivotal positions at well-known global enterprises such as Deutsche Bank, UBS, and HP. His vast expertise will undeniably play a critical role as CybaVerse navigates the complex landscape of cyber threats and continues its ambitious expansion. Joining Andreas is Juliette Hudson as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), whose previous experience as a SOC regional manager at Kroll and technical roles at organizations like Bupa and Symantec equips her with a unique blend of technical know-how and industry insight necessary for driving CybaVerse’s operations forward. Additionally, Nicola Hartland is welcomed to the team as Non-Executive Director and Brand Advisor, bringing over two decades of experience in cyber and technology to relationships with clients and strategizing for enhanced company growth.
The wealth of knowledge and experience that Andreas, Juliette, and Nicola bring to CybaVerse is expected to propel the company’s goals forward, ensuring the implementation of enriched customer experiences and the evolutionary development of the CybaVerse AI platform. They are set to work closely with Founder & Lightning to maximize the potential of the company’s innovations. As Oliver Spence, CEO of CybaVerse, expressed, the new additions to the team are crucial for navigating the company's continued development of its product offerings and realizing, if not exceeding, its ambitious goals. With the rapid evolution of AI and the critical importance of cybersecurity in today’s digital landscape, CybaVerse stands poised not just to adapt, but to lead, making substantial strides in securing the interests of SMEs across various industries in a world where cyber threats are increasingly prevalent.
