Ori Biotech Secures Over $100 Million for Expansion
Ori Biotech Ltd., with headquarters in both London, UK, and New Jersey, has emerged as a prominent player in the field of cell and gene therapy (CGT) manufacturing technology. Recently, the company successfully secured an impressive amount exceeding USD 100 million in Series B funding. This significant financial milestone was led by Novalis LifeSciences, with notable participation from Puhua Capital and Chimera Abu Dhabi. The funding round also saw the continued support from existing investors such as Amadeus Capital Partners, Delin Ventures, Northpond Ventures, and Octopus Ventures. In addition to the expansion of its workforce, Ori Biotech is set to introduce its innovative Lightspeed Early Access Program (LEAP), which will grant select partners pre-launch access to the manufacturing platform throughout 2022.

Founded in 2015 by Dr. Farlan Veraitch from UCL, with Jason C.
