This infusion of capital will enable the company to expand its operations, manufacturing, sales, and marketing efforts on a global scale. Founded in 2017 by CEO Peter Swain, RBW Sports & Classics Ltd., known as RBW EV Cars, specializes in producing new, handcrafted classic British sports cars that are powered by a rear-mounted electrified powertrain.
RBW EV's Roadster and GT models are assembled at the company’s state-of-the-art factory located in the Midlands Growth Corridor, an advanced manufacturing zone in England.
The company's current offering, the Roadster model, epitomizes the quintessential British driving experience by combining the vintage charm of iconic sports cars from the 60s and 70s with modern luxuries and cutting-edge technologies. With a starting price of $135,000 (USD), the Roadster is already available for purchase, while the highly anticipated GT model is set to debut in late 2024 with a starting price of $151,000 (USD).
