Belong, a London, UK-based provider of a wealth-building platform, recently announced that it has raised £2.95M in Pre-Seed funding. The funding round saw participation from major investors such as Octopus Ventures, Viola Fintech, Connect Ventures, Portage Ventures, and January Ventures. Additionally, prominent Fintech angel investors including Ricky Knox and Gautham Radhakrishnan, Nutmeg co-founder William Todd, leading UK Economist John Kay, and tech industry maven Edwina Johnson also contributed to the investment. The company plans to use the newly acquired funds to fuel its expansion efforts and continue developing its innovative platform.

One of the standout features of Belong's platform is the optional 'Boost loan' that allows users to scale up their long-term equity investments. This low-interest loan enables customers to invest more money upfront, thereby maximizing the benefits of compounding over time. Users can then repay the Boost loan through small monthly instalments, while their investments continue to grow steadily.
