KCA Holdings Secures £5.3 Million Funding for Growth
KCA Holdings, a technology group based in Leigh, UK, recently achieved a significant milestone by securing £5.3 million in funding. This minority investment was made by BGF, a prominent growth capital investor. The influx of capital is strategically earmarked to propel the company's ongoing efforts in software design and development. One of the primary focuses will be on enhancing the user interface and overall user experience of their products. Additionally, the funding will facilitate increased investments in cloud infrastructure and technology, enabling KCA to accelerate the delivery of benefits to both its existing clientele and potential new customers.
At the helm of KCA Holdings is CEO Jonathan Heaton, who leads the company as it operates two key platforms: Service Geeni and Cloud Geeni.
Service Geeni is a comprehensive service and workforce management software platform specifically designed to help medium to large service management companies maximize their efficiency and enhance their service delivery. This innovative platform streamlines operational processes, optimizes inventory control, and implements intelligent, multi-variable scheduling and resourcing. Furthermore, it provides clients with the tools necessary to visualize meaningful data, ensuring that they can make informed decisions based on real-time insights.
In addition to Service Geeni, KCA Holdings is also home to Cloud Geeni, a trusted Microsoft Gold Partner that offers cloud-based IT infrastructure solutions aimed at supporting UK small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Over the past three years, the company has experienced remarkable growth, expanding its workforce to 95 employees across its headquarters in Leigh, Greater Manchester, and its development hub located in Bengaluru (Bangalore), India. The recent investment will also see technology entrepreneur Arlene Adams joining the board as non-executive Chair. Adams, well-known as the founder of Peppermint Technology—a customer and business management platform utilized by law firms globally—brings a wealth of experience to KCA Holdings as they embark on this exciting new chapter of innovation and growth.
