RezKit, a modern booking platform for the travel industry, has secured £250,000 in a Seed round led by early-stage focused venture capital firm Jenson Funding Partners. The company was created to address the longstanding issue of integrating bloated legacy systems in the travel industry. RezKit aims to modernize the way travel businesses operate through its platform, which runs on a series of APIs designed for use by end-users, airline companies, CRM, and more.
RezKit's platform aims to bring more of a Shopify-like approach to solving the travel industry's integration issues.
The company's platform gives businesses greater connectivity with customers, third-party apps, and integration options. When the Covid-19 pandemic halted travel in 2020, it provided an opportunity for a reset and the creation of RezKit, which is revolutionizing the travel industry.
Founder and CEO of RezKit, Matt Illston, brings 25 years of experience in the travel industry. Illston's experience enabled him to create these channels, which are building up a marketplace of useful integrations with tools, product providers, and flight providers, giving travel businesses the ability to choose their preferred tools or the option to build their own. The company has already onboarded its first clients in 2023, with more in the pipeline, and continues to develop new and exciting integrations.
RezKit's collaboration with Jenson Funding Partners will strengthen its platform and brand, invest in extending the technical team, and expand further towards becoming a platform of choice for many businesses within the travel industry. As a startup investment firm, Jenson Funding Partners specialises in working with founders throughout an early-stage growth period, from pre-seed to Series A. Jenson has launched five SEIS and four EIS Funds, investing over £21 million in over 125 entrepreneurial UK businesses.
