Swoperz Raises £250K in Pre-Seed Funding for Children's Clothing Marketplace
Swoperz, a second-hand clothing marketplace based in London, UK, has raised £250K in Pre-Seed funding. The funding round was led by Jenson Funding Partners and will be used to further develop a scalable platform that provides a safe, online-verified environment for the next generation. Founded in 2021 by Charlene Hurlock and Vicky Fuller, Swoperz is a retail marketplace for children from 6-16 to swap clothes with each other. Children are reimbursed with tokens when they upload an item and can use these tokens to “pay for” a different item on the platform.

The company has partnered with TrustElevate, a provider of child age verification and parental consent, to create an age-appropriate safe space for children and their families.
