Dr Jonathan Milner is an angel investor based in Cambridge, in the UK.
Dr. Jonathan Milner, founder of Abcam plc, has a rich background in entrepreneurship and investment, notably in the UK's life science and high-tech startups. His contributions span over 80 companies, including substantial investment and mentorship, and helping three tech companies IPO on the London AIM Stock exchange. After obtaining his doctorate in Molecular Genetics, he identified a market need for high-quality antibodies, leading to the establishment of Abcam in 1998. Currently, he holds a Non-Executive Director position with HealX, a company focused on finding cures for rare childhood diseases. Furthermore, he co-founded two research institutions: the Milner Centre for Evolution and the Milner Institute for Therapeutics.
