The raise, which includes participation from GV, Intrepid Growth Partners, Seedcamp, Vertex Ventures US, Plural and Garuda Ventures, brings Metaview’s total funding to almost £85 million and underlines investor appetite for automating recruitment workflows.
Why it matters
Recruiting remains a large, inefficient market. The industry is estimated at around $800 billion and is still largely run on manual processes, fragmented tooling and human judgement. The number of applications per recruiter has increased sharply, the company says, and a majority of candidates report being ghosted by employers. If AI can reliably reduce time-to-hire and improve decision-making at scale, it could materially change how organisations resource teams across tech and non-tech functions.
Metaview points to faster hiring outcomes for customers, including examples of time-to-hire reductions of more than 75 percent. Those performance claims are notable given how quickly application volumes and recruiter workloads have grown.
Inside the product
Metaview began by capturing the conversations where hiring decisions form and has now processed more than 6 million interviews. That corpus of conversation data feeds a suite of connected AI agents that operate across sourcing, screening and interview summarisation. The company says agents can source candidates before they apply, evaluate inbound applications against role briefs, run structured screening conversations and convert human interviews into structured, reusable notes while leaving final decisions to people.
Metaview is rolling out fillmore, an autonomous recruiting coworker, into general availability and adding specialist agents. The company also recently acquired Reval, an AI-native recruiting startup, and is investing in 10x Recruiting, a community and training programme for talent professionals focused on talent engineering—the practice of building and running AI-powered hiring systems.
More than 7,000 companies use the platform. Customers named in the announcement include Deel, the global payroll and compliance provider; Affirm, the fintech lender; Navan, a corporate travel and expense platform; and Replit, a coding platform for developers. Each example points to heavy hiring needs across fast-growing product and engineering teams.

Who are the investors?
The round was led by Insight Partners with participation from GV, Intrepid Growth Partners, Seedcamp, Vertex Ventures US, Plural and Garuda Ventures. The funding arrives about a year after Metaview’s previous round and takes lifetime funding to nearly £85 million.

Founder perspective
Metaview was founded in 2018 by Siadhal Magos and Shahriar Tajbakhsh, both formerly of Uber and Palantir. The company plans to grow headcount from about 80 employees to roughly 250 by the end of next year and will open a New York office alongside existing hubs in London and San Francisco.
