Qureight’s technology aims to standardise image handling across sites, deliver compartment‑specific biomarkers for lung disease and provide synthetic control arms to reduce the cost and length of studies. The global lung and heart clinical trials market is projected to reach USD 27.5 billion by 2030, which underlines commercial opportunity as well as demand from biopharma for more efficient, data‑driven trial tools.
Qureight combines global imaging CRO services with proprietary AI lung image biomarkers. The platform supports faster site onboarding and more consistent image handling, and the biomarkers quantify structural changes within lung compartments that indicate disease progression. Its data science suite includes synthetic control arms that can be used to compare investigational arms against matched historical cohorts, potentially reducing participant numbers and study duration.
The new capital is earmarked to fund an AI imaging laboratory to house Qureight’s 3D chest imaging Foundation Model, which the company says will reduce the data requirements and time needed to develop disease models. Qureight plans to extend beyond its existing lung fibrosis models into asthma, pulmonary hypertension, bronchiectasis and drug‑induced lung toxicity, while continuing development of its quantitative imaging analytics platform and expanding its commercial team.
The round was led by Molten Ventures, with participation from Hargreave Hale AIM VCT, XTX Ventures, Guinness Ventures, Meltwind and Ascension. As part of the financing, Dr Inga Deakin of Molten Ventures and Anna Salim of Hargreave Hale have joined Qureight’s board.
